TOP ENTERPRISE RESOURCE PLANNING SOLUTIONS PROVIDER IN APAC 2024
SCALING NEW HEIGHTS: HOW SYSTEMEVER IS REVOLUTIONIZING ERP SOLUTIONS FOR SMEs
The adoption of ERP systems by small and midsized enterprises (SME) is often hampered by the considerable expense of licenses, consultation, customization and operating fees. SMEs often find the extensive implementation process challenging, lacking the expertise, and financial resources to operate the complex systems. These factors make it difficult to justify and manage investments in traditional ERP solutions.
In light of these challenges, attention is shifting to solutions prioritizing affordability, ease of use, reduced consulting costs, and minimized customization expenses. One such promising solution is SystemEver, a cloud-based(SaaS) ERP developed by Ever Japan that helps SMEs address their business challenges.
SystemEver offers a notable difference from traditional on-premise systems by removing the need for expensive license and infrastructure fees while also slashing consulting and customization costs. A low monthly usage fee is the only recurring expense, making it an economical and practical choice for SMEs seeking to strengthen their business management.
Ensuring Business Resilience for the Future
“Ever Japan aspires to provide a cost-effective and feature-rich solution that enables Japan’s small and mid-sized enterprises to effectively tackle their management challenges,” says Asao Maeda, representative director and president.
Ever Japan was established in June 2017 as a wholly owned subsidiary of YounglimwonSoftLab, a key leader in the South Korean ERP market. In 2003, YounglimwonSoftLab developed K2-ERP, an on-premises product (web version) for the Japanese market, and began selling it in collaboration with a Japanese consulting company. Starting in 2015, the parent company moved away from the on-premises ERP product, focusing instead on developing SystemEver with Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform.
SystemEver’s key features focus on cost efficiency and usability, designed to reduce reliance on external consultants. The system allows users to set operational rules for various management functions—such as sales, purchasing, production, outsourcing, financial, and cost management—without the need for professional assistance, consulting or customization services.
Built on service-oriented architecture (SOA), SystemEver comprises modular units that represent individual business activities, such as payment processing or stock status checks.
The design supports easy customization and integration, allowing businesses to modify the system to suit specific requirements without extensive reprogramming. Developed using the proprietary K-Studio tool, SystemEver supports one source multi-use (OSMU), enabling seamless operation across PC, tablet and smartphone environments.
Alongside its advanced technology, SystemEver offers support for international operations with multilingual and multi-currency functionalities. A dictionary function allows for an unlimited number of languages. Provided languages include Japanese, Chinese, Korean and English, with additional languages available upon registration. The subscription-based pricing model ensures predictable costs, as the number of users determines monthly fees. The basic service includes up to 10 users, with incremental fees for additional users. This flexibility allows businesses to scale their use according to their needs.
SystemEver further distinguishes itself with its user-centric interface, which is structured around “process menus” that are similar to typical business workflows. The intuitive design simplifies operations, enabling users to execute tasks and monitor processes efficiently and seamlessly. Its resemblance to Microsoft Excel improves usability, facilitating familiar data interactions and streamlining operations with features like data entry automation.
Finally, to ensure seamless data integration with external systems such as electronic data interchange (EDI), SystemEver incorporates its API function called APIStitch, which facilitates bidirectional data transfer. This enables efficient communication and information exchange with external systems, enhancing overall workflow efficiency.
Rocketing Businesses Forward
Ever Japan’s mission is to extend to the broader Asian region low-cost and short-term implementation through its business improvement, ERP implementation consulting and customized design and development capabilities. For capabilities not covered internally, it collaborates with partners with specialized know-how—an approach that differs from many ERPs in Japan, where the traditional implementation format frequently results in longer time frames and increased costs. Ever Japan strives to build and implement a “method for short-term introduction.”
SystemEver has garnered attention for its ability to facilitate rapid business operations, particularly among start-ups and newly established companies. The company has tangible success stories from various industries, demonstrating its efficacy in achieving full-scale operation. For instance, in the distribution industry, the system has enabled 15 successful implementations, while it has facilitated 20 implementations in the manufacturing sector.
Foresight into Future Innovations
“The mission given to Ever Japan is to introduce SystemEver to customers not only in Japan but also in the Asian region,” says Maeda.
Ever Japan seeks a long-term trajectory that goes beyond profit generation, focusing on continuous innovation and technological advancement. In line with this vision, the company is actively pursuing various initiatives that are outlined in its product development roadmap. One such endeavor involves
the promotion of Flextudio, a mobile ERP development platform designed to enhance the accessibility and flexibility of business management solutions. Ever Japan is also committed to expanding its AI management diagnosis function, which is seamlessly integrated with ERP systems, to provide its clients
with data-driven insights and enhance their decision-making processes. In addition, the company is poised to develop an attendance management and personnel payroll system that caters to the evolving needs of businesses for comprehensive HR solutions. These strategic initiatives reflect Ever Japan’s dedication to offering cutting-edge services that empower businesses and drive sustainable growth.
Today, SystemEver has become a preferred ERP system for several companies, and its success can be attributed to the fact that it serves as a high-performance ERP at a significantly lower cost through a subscription model. This is particularly pertinent in a market that is dominated by expensive ERP systems, and SystemEver becomes a viable option for users seeking good value for their investment in an ERP solution.
