YoungLimWon Soft-Lab won the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the ‘Happiness Plus Social Contribution Campaign’

[Edaily Reporter Lim Yoo-kyung] YoungLimWon Soft-Lab, an enterprise resource planning (ERP) specialist company, announced on the 29th that it won the Minister of Health and Welfare Award at the ‘2024 Happiness More Social Contribution Campaign’ event held at the Lotte Hotel in Jung-gu on the 28th.

The Happiness Plus Social Contribution Campaign, which celebrated its 14th anniversary this year, is co-hosted by the Korea Journalists Association and the Korea Employers Federation. Awards are given to companies and organizations that exemplarily practice corporate social responsibility through social contribution activities.

For the past 19 years, YoungLimWon Soft-Lab has been providing monthly scholarships of 300,000(KRW) to 363 middle and high school students from underprivileged backgrounds through the YoungLimWon 1% Club. Additionally, we offer mentoring programs and cultural experiential learning activities to guide students in their career paths and address their concerns, fostering their development into confident and upright individuals. Furthermore, our executives and employees personally prepare gifts and letters for children in orphanages located in the Gangseo and Paju areas, distributing them on Children’s Day and Christmas every year. We also maintain ongoing support by providing kimchi and briquette donations in collaboration with local welfare centers.

In terms of talent training, we are running a program that trains ERP engineers for non-majors and connects them to recruitment.

Additionally, our efforts to create a good workplace and corporate culture have been recognized, leading to our selection as a ‘Youth-Friendly Small Giant Company’ by the Ministry of Employment and Labor for three consecutive years.

Oh Young-soo, Vice President of YoungLimWon Soft-Lab, stated, ‘We must identify growth engines in a sustainable future where business and society converge.’ He added, ‘We will continue to broaden positive impacts through comprehensive support in education, welfare, technology, and environmental initiatives.’ He also emphasized, ‘We will persist in implementing friendly management practices.’
